Our trekking guide will take you “through the looking glass” up into the village of Pangi, where you will have the opportunity to peek into the daily life of the local people as they prepare for this annual Festival. Wander by highly decorated temples, along Penjor-lined laneways, Enjoy stunning views over rice fields, ocean and volcanoes. Learn the ancient art of etching into dried palm leaves using the Balinese “Aksara” sanskrit, and have a go at making your own lontar. Before walking back to Bali Asli to cook your Galungan festival lunch
